Meet Josh Miller - Culinary Craftsman, Kitchen Commander, and Meat Maestro!

Josh began cooking back in 6th grade by making dinners for his family. Since then he has become a seasoned chef and kitchen supervisor, turning fresh, local ingredients into unforgettable meals, whether he’s feeding a table of ten or a camp of hungry adventurers.

Known for his calm command of the kitchen and deep respect for the culinary arts, Josh thrives on teamwork, organization, and good old-fashioned hard work. He’s a master of meats (grilling, braising, smoking, you name it!), a wizard with a weekly menu, and a long time advocate that food is love.

Beyond the kitchen, Josh is just as comfortable in a pair of ski boots as he is behind a butcher’s block. When he’s not crafting daily specials or wrangling kitchen equipment into peak performance, you’ll find him out in the garden, carving trails on the slopes, or looking for rocks with his wife and dogs.

Josh doesn’t just cook, his dishes always tell a story: one rooted in Northern Michigan, infused with care, and served with a whole lot of heart and love.
